While I'd agree that the more famous EVE personalities are all active forum posters, I think that the most famous (and certainly the ones I listed) are more famous for what they have achieved off the forums than on them. Also, trust can be a product of fame for some people. But it really depends what you are famous for. From my list there is only one name that the common man would trust, even though most of the list are men of honor.
I agree that they have risen because off there in game activity. But most "famous" people first got there name out on the forums and used the forums to kickstart there business ventures

I never knew grendell held that much power. Is there any real proof of this other then his word.
